Freelance writing is my jam and web content is my specialty. I pride myself on generating on providing informative and fact-based content that’s also relatable and, dare I say, humorous.
I’ve been published at a number of outlets around the web including Pregnant Chicken, Her View From Home, Portland Mom Collective, Not Your Average Mother, and more.
Before starting my journey as a writer, I worked in Clinical Diagnostics. I have a B.S. in Biological Sciences with minors in Genetics and Microbiology.
You might find yourself asking why a scientist is now a freelance writer. Well, research is right up my alley, as is constantly learning more about everything ever. I try not to take myself too seriously and writing provides that outlet.
When I’m not writing or ‘doing science’, I’m living the dream of the 90s in Portlandia. Are you jealous yet?
Naturally, that means I have a podcast too. I co-host Raising Cascadia, a podcast for parents in the Pacific Northwest. We talk to real experts and I make jokes. It’s a hoot.
